Brian D. Quintenz is a Board Chairman, Director, investor, and advisor to the world's most innovative financial technology companies. Quintenz has been a Board member of KalshiEx, the CFTC-regulated futures exchange of Kalshi, since 2021. He also currently serves as the Board Chair of Next Level Derivatives LLC, a Board Director of the publicly traded Sui Group (SUIG), and an advisor to Topstep and Ubyx. Previously, Quintenz was the Global Head of Policy for a16z crypto. Prior to joining a16z, Quintenz was nominated by President Trump to serve as a commissioner of the CFTC. In August 2017, he was unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate and served four years at the agency until stepping down in August of 2021.
